In her role, Yelena analyzes macroeconomic developments in order to better understand the implications for the broader economy and monetary policy. As part of a team of economists, she contributes in-depth analysis of macroeconomic data and trends for the Bloomberg Professional service, the world's most trusted source for real-time and historical financial data, news, research and analytics. Yelena brings ten years of experience as a U.S. economist at BNP Paribas where she provided clients with forecasts and analysis of macroeconomic and financial developments. She regularly appears on business television & radio, and is frequently quoted in print publications. Yelena holds a CFA designation as well as Masters Degrees in Finance & Investments and Economics.

Kartik Ghia is the Co-Head of Systematic Strategies Research at Bloomberg. He has written extensively on factor investing and developed risk premia strategies and portfolios across the asset class spectrum. His work on commodities benchmarks include the development of factor-tilted benchmarks and alternative risk premia overlays. Prior to Bloomberg, he worked at Barclays and JPMorgan as an index researcher. Kartik received his Ph.D. in Statistics from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and his MPhil & MA from the University of Oxford.

Michael John Lytle

Michael John (“MJ”) Lytle is CEO of Tabula Investment Management. Tabula is focused on creating and managing outstanding funds offering investors precise tools for fine tuning fixed income exposure. Previously MJ was a founding partner in Source, an investment manager focused on the creation and distribution of ETFs, including a partnership with PIMCO to create and distribute a range of fixed income ETFs. Source was purchased by Invesco in 2017. Prior to Source, MJ spent 18 years at Morgan Stanley with a variety of roles across corporate finance, capital markets origination, trading, sales, equity, fixed income, private wealth and technology strategy. Most of these roles revolved around fixed income and evolving and expanding investors’ access to the asset class. MJ has a BA in Economics and Government from Dartmouth College with further studies at the London School of Economics.

Erik Rotander

Erik Rotander is managing Bloomberg's index sales and relationship management team in EMEA. He has 20 years experience of index products and before joining Bloomberg he held various leadership roles on both the sell- and buyside. Erik earned his LLM from University of Uppsala and studied business and finance at University of British Columbia and is a FRM and CAIA charterholder.
