BNEF G20 Zero-Carbon Policy Scoreboard: Who’s Doing It Best?

Governments around the world are considering how best to drive companies and consumers to cut greenhouse-gas emissions, with a view to avoiding catastrophic climate change. But simply pledging to achieve “net-zero” CO2 decades from now is insufficient. Concrete, shorter-term policy actions are also needed.

What has worked to spur change so far and what are the common pitfalls? Where could the next policy-driven opportunities for business come from?

Join us to discuss BloombergNEF's new G20 Zero-Carbon Policy Scoreboard report, which seeks to answer these questions by evaluating countries' policy mixes, highlighting examples of what works and flagging where more progress is needed. BNEF’s policy experts also examine the needs and challenges across the economy, including power, low-carbon fuels and CCUS, transport, buildings, industry and the circular economy.
