Christian heads asset allocation research efforts within portfolio strategy. He also writes research on derivatives with a focus on dividends, volatility and correlation. Christian is a member of the Structured Research Products Working Group. Previously, he worked on the Tactical Research Group, focused on quantitative investment strategies. Prior to that, Christian worked in derivatives trading in Frankfurt. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2005 and was named managing director in 2015. Christian earned a master's degree in Finance and Management from the University of Mannheim. He also studied at Warwick Business School and ESSEC Business School. Christian is a CFA charterholder.

Laurent Douillet is an equity strategist for Bloomberg Intelligence specializing in the European markets. Based in London, Laurent has more than 20 years of experience in global stock markets. Prior to joining Bloomberg, he was an equity analyst and portfolio manager covering the European technology and business services sectors at AllianceBernstein and the international (global ex-U.S.) technology sector at Lazard Asset Management. He was ranked in the buy-side Institutional Investor surveys of 2003 and 2005. Prior to his experience on the buy-side, Laurent worked as a telecom services and equipment equity analyst at Lehman Brothers. Laurent holds an MBA degree in accounting and finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Ashwin Bhakre

Ashwin Bhakre is the team leader for EMEA Dividend Forecasting (BDVD) at Bloomberg, specialising in REITs, Industrials, and Consumer Staples. Ashwin has strong industry knowledge on corporate actions and specifically dividends in the London market. His team consists of deep subject matter experts and data analysts who utilise a bottom-up fundamental approach along with proprietary models to provide real-time dividend forecasts, for both amounts and dates. Ashwin has an Economics background from Warwick university.

Andreas Schmidt

Specialist Equity Derivatives

Andreas Schmidt has been with Bloomberg since 2013 and is part of their specialist team focusing on equity derivatives. His role is to support clients with technical details around Bloomberg’s equity derivatives product offering, be this on and off terminal functionality, or specific data. Andreas works alongside product managers in order to help prioritizing product updates or new builds depending on client demand as well as Bloomberg’s client relationship teams. Prior to having joined Bloomberg as an equity derivatives specialist, he spent over 20 years in the equity derivatives markets and has been a flow trader most of his career, but moved into sales covering institutional clients in the German speaking region.
