He advises and works with customers on generating investment ideas, adopting systematic investment tools, and building various research processes.

Richard is the Product Manager for Trading API solutions. Rik had been a technologist for over 26 years before joining Bloomberg 10 years ago as a technical specialist, to support developers using the Bloomberg API, and the new EMSX API service. Since then, he has represented Trading API products globally in a specialist role, as a technical resource within the Sales group, and spending time in Engineering as a Product Owner.
In 2020, Rik took over as product manager of Trading API solutions . His expertise lies in helping clients make the most of the Trading API services, and developing new API products to support innovative client workflows globally.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, he spent 20 years in Investment Banking with Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and BNP Paribas as a Financials Research Analyst and Senior Sales Trader based in Singapore and Hong Kong.
