Air Chief Marshal B. S. Dhanoa (Re

Air Chief Marshal B. S. Dhanoa (Retd.), is an alumnus of St. George's College, Mussoorie, where he studied from 1968 to 1969. Thereafter, he moved to Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun in August 1969 and joined the National Defence Academy (NDA) in June 1974. He later graduated from the Jawaharlal Nehru University in 1977. Post his flying training, he was commissioned in the Fighter Stream of the Indian Air Force in June 1978. In 1985, he carried out the All Purpose Flying Instructors Course (APFIC) and then attained the highest-Flying Instructor’s Category A2 in 1987. He then did his M. Sc. in Defence Studies from Madras University and attended a Defence Services Staff College Course in 1990-91. He has an illustrious career with Indian Air Force and has served at various ranks. He served as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of South Western Air Command before taking over as the Vice Chief of Air Staff (VCAS) in May 2015. He served as the 25th Chief of the Indian Air Force (IAF) from January 1, 2017 to September 30, 2019 and led the IAF when it executed air strikes over Balakot in Pakistan in February 2019. He has been awarded with the Param Vishisht Seva Medal in 2016, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal in 2015, Yudh Seva Medal 1999 and Vayu Sena Medal in 1999. Amongst various other achievements, the Fighter Squadron he commanded was the most decorated Air Force unit during the Kargil conflict due to his excellent leadership.

He is currently heading the Forex Division of Global Markets department of SBI as General Manager (Forex).

Rajiv Anand, 55 years, joined the Bank on 1st May 2013 from its asset management arm, Axis Asset Management Co. Ltd., where he was the founding Managing Director & CEO. Rajiv Anand is a Commerce graduate and a Chartered Accountant by qualification. He was appointed as the President (Retail Banking) and was thereafter elevated as the Group Executive (Retail Banking) in 2014. He was appointed as a Director of the Bank on 12th May 2016 and thereafter as the Executive Director (Retail Banking) of the Bank, w.e.f. 4th August 2016. Subsequently, he took over as the Executive Director (Wholesale Banking) of the Bank, with effect from 21st December 2018. Over a career spanning more than 30 years, Rajiv Anand has focused on various facets of the financial services industry having held key management positions at leading global financial institutions. He is widely recognized for his strengths in capital markets and successfully building new businesses to scale.

Vaneet Gupta has over 18 years of experience trading in India markets , including Fx spot, Fx swaps, IRD and IGB Vaneet joined Standard Chartered in 2019 after working for 10 years in Citibank and 6 years in ICICI bank (India’s largest private sector bank) as head of Fx trading. Vaneet also worked in Citibank as head of trading and his last job was head of fx and rates trading team in ICICI bank. Vaneet holds a MBA degree from Indian Institute of Management , Calcutta with major in Finance

David Croen

David Croen is head of credit risk products for Bloomberg, L.P., working in the firm’s enterprise product business. Prior to joining Bloomberg, David led risk management and valuation for global banks and asset managers, with specialization in credit and securitization. He contributed to the President’s Working Group on Financial Markets Best Practices for Risk Management (2008), and has advised U.S. regulators and accounting firms on complex structured finance transactions. David earned a B.A. in Applied Mathematics and an MBA in Finance, both from the University of Rochester.

Fatema is Derivative Specialist at Bloomberg and looks after Derivatives pricers and trainings for clients on Bloomberg's suite of products/solutions. She is also part of the LIBOR transition group in Bloomberg. Before joining Bloomberg, Fatema was the Derivatives dealer at Bank of Baroda. Prior to this she was Derivatives trader at IDBI Bank and has rich experience of more than 10 years in dealing in Fx Options and Swaps markets.

Gaurav Kapoor

Gaurav specializes in X-asset derivatives pricing and risk management at Bloomberg and leads the structured products strategy for the APAC region.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, he has worked in the corporate and investment banking industry across Asia & Europe including specializing in structuring of complex derivative products. He is passionate about quantitative finance and risk management, with a keen interest in application of machine learning techniques in finance.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and MBA (Finance) from the M.S. University of Baroda. Gaurav has also been awarded the Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF) and is a Financial Risk Manager (FRM).

Mark Gillon is the regional pre-sales team leader of Bloomberg Enterprise Technology Solutions, helping grow the business over the past 5 years. Mark and his team manage all iPaaS and other integration technology engagements with clientele across the APAC region. Mark has 13+ years experience in the fintech industry working with enterprise solutions across capital markets. Mark started his career in software development and implementation roles before moving into the pre-sales arena. Mark holds an engineering degree from the University of Western Australia.

Most recently he has been actively involved with IBOR transition and thought leadership around the unique challenges the changes pose in the context of regional benchmarks.
