Colin’s team advises the world’s top automakers, electric utilities, oil and gas companies, governments and financiers. Colin previously managed BNEF’s coverage of the global smart grid industry. He has 15 years of experience in the clean energy and transport sectors and presents regularly at leading industry events. Colin’s past roles include Director of Sales and Marketing for Neurio, a smart grid technology company, and Business Development Manager for a Canadian biofuel company. Colin holds degrees from the London School of Economics and the Sauder School of Business at UBC. He is based in London, UK.

Aleksandra O'Donovan

Head of Electrified Transport

Aleksandra O’Donovan is Head of Electrified Transport at BloombergNEF. She is responsible for the coverage of the global electrified transport markets, and specializes in the analysis of the electric vehicles sales trends, infrastructure development and changing policy environment. Aleksandra has been with BloombergNEF since 2008, and prior to her role in the Advanced Transport team she has lead research focused on global biomass-to-power, waste-to-energy and biofuels markets. Aleksandra finished her Master's degree in Sustainable Technologies at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. She also holds a BSc in Environmental Protection and Management from the Gdansk University of Technology, Poland.

Nikolas Soulopoulos

Senior Associate, Advanced Transport

Nikolas Soulopoulos manages BloombergNEF’s coverage of trucking, aviation and maritime transport. Previously, his role focused on the manufacturing economics of electric vehicles, policy analyses and automotive corporate strategies. Before joining BNEF, Nikolas was a researcher at Imperial College London, where he completed a PhD in fluid mechanics.

ANDREW GRANT

Senior Associate, Intelligent Mobility

Andrew Grant is a Senior Associate at BloombergNEF covering intelligent mobility. He produces analysis on business models, technologies and policies related to connected cars, mobility services and autonomous driving. Andrew works with automakers, utilities, technology companies and investors to understand the role of data in the future of transportation. He is based in London and holds MSc Applied Economics and Bachelor of Business Science in Economics degrees from the University of Cape Town.

Ryan Fisher

Electrified Transport Analyst

Ryan is a Senior Associate in the electrified transport team at BloombergNEF. He covers the technology, policy and economic factors shaping the transport sector. Within the team Ryan author’s research on electric vehicles and charging infrastructure. Prior to joining BloombergNEF Ryan worked at Jaguar Land Rover for five years working on their electrification and mobility strategies. This included leading on the end of life strategy for EV batteries, completing projects on EV charging, the launch of electric vehicles and the creation of InMotion. A subsidiary which invests in new mobility businesses. Ryan holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Liverpool University and a Post-graduate Diploma in Automotive Technology from the University of Warwick.
