At Credit Suisse, he was a top ranked equity analyst by Institutional Investor went on to five successful years as a portfolio manager including being partner at SAC Global.

Steve Man

Steve Man is the Director of Research in Asia for Bloomberg Intelligence and covers the Asia automotive sector at Bloomberg Intelligence.

Steve spent more than 12 years as a sell-side research analyst, covering automotive and industrial sectors with Nomura, Samsung Securities, HSBC and Jefferies in Hong Kong and New York. Prior to this, Steve held several manufacturing engineering and management positions at General Motors' Powertrain Division for nine years.

Steve received his MBA from Indiana University, MS in Manufacturing Engineering from University of Michigan and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University (formerly General Motors Institute). Steve was also an Institutional Investor ranked auto analyst in Hong Kong.

Kevin Tynan

Kevin Tynan is the Global Director of Automotive Research for Bloomberg Intelligence since 2009. With more than 20 years of investment research experience, Mr. Tynan began his career as an equity analyst at Argus Research, covering the global automotive, auto parts and auto retailers industries. As a senior analyst, the Financial Times/StarMine ranked Mr. Tynan the top stock picker for the automobile parts segment in 2007. He was the No. 2 ranked automobile manufacturing sector stock picker according to Forbes/StarMine in 2004 and again in 2005. Mr. Tynan graduated from Saint Anselm College with a BS in business economics and is a member of the college's Athletic Hall of Fame. He received an MBA in finance from St. John's University.

Tatsuo Yoshida

Tatsuo Yoshida is a senior auto analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence covering Japanese automotive sector. Tatsuo began his career in Nissan Motor, where he was responsible for product market strategies, sales and marketing, and alliance strategies for 16 years, including four years at the product market strategy office at Nissan North America. He has an in-depth knowledge of autos and related products, both from Japan and abroad. Prior to joining Bloomberg Intelligence in 2019, Tatsuo spent more than 20 years as a both sell- and buy- side research analyst covering automotive sector with ABN Amro, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, UBS, Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley, Barclays and Sawakami AM. He was ranked number one for his coverage of the auto industry several times in the Institutional Investor analyst ranking and Nikkei Veritas analyst ranking. Tatsuo received his BA in Economics from the University of Tokyo, and received his MBA from University of California, Los Angeles. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan.
