Jamilla Smith is a Diversity Recruiter on the Bloomberg Campus / Entry-level Talent Acquisition team. She has supported the Bloomberg Customer Support, Analytics & Sales, Supply Chain and Client Financial Services for full-time and internship roles. She started at Bloomberg LP in January 2017 and has managed relationships with target schools in the North East, Southern, and Caribbean Regions. Prior to Bloomberg, she worked as a Recruiting Coordinator and Campus Recruiter for 3.5 years in the insurance broking/consulting industry. She graduated from Baruch College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. She is a Sergeant First Class currently in the Army Reserves as a Human Resources Specialist (42A) and has been serving for over 18 years now. She has been deployed to both Iraq & Afghanistan in support of Operation Iraqi & Enduring Freedom respectively. She is a diversity champion and has a love of music.
