Maria Ariza Garcia Migoya

Maria is an Industrial Engineer with academic excellence from Universidad Iberoamericana and has a Master's degree in Business Management with concentration in Finance from Harvard. She spent her entire professional life in the private equity sector, holding positions such as: CEO of the Mexican Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (AMEXCAP); Partner at Ictus Capital; and as associate at the NAFTA Fund LLC. Actually, she performs as CEO at Bolsa Institutional de Valores (BIVA), a global electronic marketplace for buying and selling securities, created with the aim of deepening the Mexican stock market and generating a competitive financing alternative for high growth companies. Additionally, she serves as an independent member and partner of various boards. María's career has been recognized with an award from the Women Economic Forum, from the International Entrepreneurs Council, and in publications such as Expansión, Forbes, Líderes, Revista 2020, among others.

Claudia de la Vega Martinez

Claudia earned a Bachelor Degree in Internationals Relations from the Instituto Tecnológico Autonómo de México (ITAM) with a specialty in Economics and did course work towards a Master in International Business from Seattle University. In 2010, she completed a course on Global Corporate Social Responsibility at the University School of Professional Studies at New York University. In 2017 she completed a Diploma in Strategic and Management Thinking at Universidad Panamericana (UP). In 2019, she completed a Diploma in Applied Economics at ITAM, a Certificate on the Science and Practice of Sustainable Development from the University of Queensland and a Diploma on Economic Competition at UP. Most recently, she completed a Diploma in Behavioral Economics from the University of Toronto and a Diploma in Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies from Cambridge University. Claudia joined Walmart on 2014, where she held various positions such as Manager of Social Programs, Deputy Director of Government Relations, Director of Corporate Development and Sustainability. Claudia is currently the Director of Corporate Affairs, having responsibility for the areas of ESG / Sustainability, Economic and Political Analysis, Corporate Communication and Government Relations

Pablo Ampudia

Pablo Ampudia has a degree in Finance and in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). He began his profesional career as a Derivatives Trader in Intercam Brokerage Firm. Currently he is Director of Quanta Shares, a mexican ETF issuer. He is responsible for the management of the various ETF’s of the company. He recently, led the team unto the design, modeling, structuring and IPO of the Genius ETF, achieving one of the most successful ETF IPOs in Mexico.

Eric Parrado Herrera

Eric Parrado Herrera is Chief Economist and General Manager of the Research Department of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Before joining the IDB, he was a professor of economics and finance at the ESE Business School of the Universidad de los Andes in Santiago, Chile. Mr. Parrado is a visiting professor at Oxford University and the Central European University, and co-chair of the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on Frontier Risks. He was the Superintendent of Banks and Financial Institutions in Chile (2014-2018) and Manager of the Chilean SWFs (2007-2010). PhD in Economics, New York University.

Sabina Mehmood

Sabina Mehmood joined Bloomberg in March 2015 where she serves as product manager of the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI). The GEI, which sits in Bloomberg's Sustainable Finance Solutions team, tracks the financial performance of companies committed to advancing women in the workplace globally. Previously specializing in marketing management, Sabina has supported government relations, media and communications initiatives across the firm as well as well as philanthropic programming at Bloomberg Philanthropies. Sabina also sits as a steering committee member of the US 30% Club, managing client relations and programming. In this role, Sabina builds regionalized, targeted, and integrated event strategies that enable cross-business integration and influence business value and results. Sabina has a BBA in Finance from the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, and a MS in Corporate Communications from The Weissman School of Arts and Sciences, Baruch College.
