Learn how Bloomberg AIM, MARS and the Index have partnered to offer a turn-key solution to facilitate 18F-4 compliance. Our solution is designed to optimize workflows to reduce the cost of compliance and provide tools to directly support Compliance teams, Risk Management and Portfolio Managers. The solution is fully integrated with AIM positions and benchmarks and clients have have the option upload positions and benchmarks maintained outside of the Bloomberg ecosystem. With Bloomberg, you will get full access to VaR Calculations and Limits, Back Testing and Stress Testing, Daily Monitoring of Breaches and support for all scheduled and ad-hoc Board and SEC reporting. Existing AIM compliance users will be able to monitor daily limits directly in CMGR. The Bloomberg platform works for both Registered Investment Companies and Sub-Advisors.

Bob Shea is the global business manager for Bloomberg’s compliance solution for the buy-side community. He joined the company in June 1994, and is based out of Bloomberg’s New York office. Over the 26 years with Bloomberg, Bob Shea has worked with numerous buy-side institutions to implement compliance solutions to mitigate investment & trading risks. The Compliance Manager (CMGR), Bloomberg’s compliance solution, is in production with over 900 clients globally and continues to be enhanced to keep up with ever changing regulatory requirements. Prior to Bloomberg, Bob Shea graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.
