Central Bank Webinar Series: Post-Pandemic Risks Across the European Banking Sector
Join us for this webinar featuring a conversation with Bloomberg Intelligence's Senior European Banks analyst, Jonathan Tyce, to discuss the outlook for European banks, where' the risks may lie and whether a taper tantrum risks a revisit of the 2012-13 sovereign crisis.
Following this, Mark Phillips, credit workflow specialist, will look at Bloomberg solutions for analysing this from a financial stability perspective.
Credit rating agencies rarely provide rating coverage of all names requiring monitoring. The coverage diminishes further as you move into subsidiaries and parts of the capital structure less exposed to capital markets.
Bloomberg now offers datasets that can help both fill those coverage gaps and provide alternative ways of viewing the risk of financial entities - these datasets can provide a new lens to judge entity risk as well as the potential for a more leading indication of credit deterioration.
Discussion Topics:
- Outlook for European banks
- Bloomberg credit solutions for analysing financial stability
