Andrea Mosconi is Global Head of Equity,Research and Listed Services Product at Bloomberg LP — the world's most trusted source for connecting decision-makers to a dynamic network of real-time and historical financial data, news, research and analytics. Based in London, Mr. Mosconi oversees business development of the Bloomberg Terminal and key client relationships across the EMEA region. His expertise covers equity derivatives, structured products and convertible bonds.

Mr. Mosconi joined Bloomberg in 2009 as an Equity Derivatives and Structured Products Specialist, and was responsible for its derivatives product development. In 2012, he became Head of Sales for Southern Europe — covering Spain, France, Italy and Portugal. From 2015 he ran the sales group for ASEAN out of Singapore, before taking up his current role in 2018, as head of Sales for EMEA.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, Mr. Mosconi was the Head of Structured and Equity Exotic Options desk at Abaxbank. He started his career as an Equity Derivatives Trader with Unicredit.

Mr. Mosconi graduated from the Università Commerciale 'Luigi Bocconi' with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical and Financial Economics.

Anil Ahmed

Martin Deurell

Martin founded Kersley Street Capital in February 2021 and is the Chief Investment Office and portfolio manager. Martin was a founding partner and senior portfolio manager at Abaco Asset Management, which managed the Abaco Financials Fund. Abaco was founded in 2003 along with two other co-founders. During his time there, Martin was a key member of the investment committee and had overall responsibility for investments across banks, insurance and diversified financials. Prior to that, Martin began his career with Swedbank as a prop trader in its Equity & Equity-derivatives division. Martin read Business and Economics at the University of Stockholm and Uppsala University.

Sajni Thakrar

With over 20 years Capital Markets experience, John has a wealth of knowledge stretching across technologies such as ultra-low latency trading infrastructure, application architecture and cyber security. Prior to working for Options, John was IT Director for Insinger de Beaufort, a wealth management firm, where he deployed turn-key voice and data network solutions as well as overhauling front, middle and back office architecture (STP).

Neeraj is a Director within the Credit Suisse Prime Services sales team. He joined CS in 2011 and has over 9 years of Prime Services experience having held numerous roles across Prime Client Services, Delta One Sales and Prime Brokerage Sales.

Neeraj focuses much of his attention on hedge fund start-ups in addition to covering established hedge fund managers on the platform. He is also responsible for distributing the EMEA Delta One Index and Custom Basket product to hedge funds and asset managers. Neeraj graduated from University College London with a degree in Economics & Geography.

Andrew Walton is the head of European Business at Tourmaline Partners. In addition to providing trading coverage for UK and internationally domiciled clients, he focuses on the development and supervision of all business activity at the firm for the EMEA region. He oversees the ongoing build-out and expansion of Tourmaline’s presence and trading team in the EMEA region.

Prior to Tourmaline, Andrew served as a director at BTIG serving to build out the firm’s European platform. He began his career at Salomon Brothers in London, as an analyst on the European Government Bond Sales desk. Benjamin is one of Optima’s Directors where he oversees compliance relationships across a range of hedge fund and private equity firms of varying structures and strategies with a combined AUM in excess of $300bn. He has a strong focus on US regulation from a UK perspective and has lead on both mock and live US regulatory examinations.

Prior to joining Optima Partners, Benjamin worked at the Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”) in the Authorisation and Supervision teams. Whilst at the FCA Benjamin was responsible for assessing authorisation applications and monitoring Firm behaviors.

Before joining the FCA, Benjamin provided external compliance assistance to the Royal Bank of Scotland where he monitored staff conduct to ensure it was in line with FCA COB standards. Preceding his tenure at the FCA, Benjamin worked for Deloitte assisting with the large remedial projects to ensure its clients were in line with their respective regulatory obligations.

Nancy has been working in regulatory compliance for almost 20 years both in house and as a compliance consultant. She has seen over 200 FCA regulated firms including Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Fund of Funds, Broker Dealers, Private Equity and Property Fund Managers. Prior to starting Portman, Nancy worked at Bear Sterns (and subsequently JP Morgan) where she project managed the launch of several new Fund Managers and she also has a unique understanding of Prime Brokerage.

Nancy has worked at a variety of Asset Managers and Banks including HSBC, Russell Investments and National Bank of Dubai where she held the Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer positions. Nancy has been asked to speak on the Compliance Panel at the Bloomberg Hedge Fund Start-Up Conference multiple times.

Nancy started Portman Compliance in 2013 and the company has prospered under her leadership.

Libbi Ross

Libbi Ross is responsible for Bloomberg Mandates in EMEA, a service connecting Bloomberg's network of alternative fund managers to allocators to assist in capital raising and manager research. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Libbi worked at RBS in Hedge Fund Markets Relationship Management and Hedge Fund Rates Sales. She initially started her career in Capital Introductions at Newedge (now Societe Generale). In her spare time, Libbi serves on the 100Women in Finance European FundWomen Conference committee and London Education committee organising events to spotlight diverse investment talent.

William Bryant

William Bryant is the head of advisory at NorthPeak Advisory, a boutique advisory firm supporting asset managers integrate ESG into their investment processes and businesses. Prior to NorthPeak Will spent 15 years in the alternative investment space at the global consultant Albourne Partners. Will worked in Europe and the US supporting investors with their alternative asset allocation needs. Will co-led Albourne’s initiative to support investors integrating Responsible Investment into their alternative portfolios and assessing managers active in the Responsible Investment area. Will has had articles published in industry publications around the topic of ESG and data. Will has spoken at PRI, SBAI, AIMA and other events on the topic of ESG within the hedge fund space.

Will graduated from Durham University, UK with a degree in Geography. Will is a CFA charterholder.

Kristen Eshak Weldon

Kristen joined Partners Capital in February 2021 as Global Head of ESG and Impact Investing. Previously, Kristen was on the Executive Committee of Louis Dreyfus Company where she launched the sustainability-focused investment fund management group, Louis Dreyfus Ventures, and led the company’s venture and growth equity investment activities in the ag-tech and food technology industries. She was Head of Food Innovation and Downstream Strategy, focusing on investments in alternative proteins, aquaculture and speciality commodities. Prior to that, Kristen was a Senior Managing Director at Blackstone and Co-Head of the London office for Hedge Fund Solutions, where she led the commodity strategy across customised and commingled portfolios.

As Co-Head of the London office for Hedge Fund Solutions, Kristen was responsible for the investment team including sourcing early stage managers. Kristen also previously worked at JPMorgan in London and New York, and currently sits on a number of boards including Cambridge University Endowment Fund and Stable Asset Management, an investment firm focused on building strategic partnerships with early stage investment managers. Kristen is an independent Non-Executive Director at Carr’s Group plc and Castleton Commodities International. She served as Founding Board Member of 100 Women in Finance Ltd., holds a Sloan Fellowship Masters degree from London Business School and a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University.
