Geopolitical Risks Impacting the Financial Markets

Geopolitical risk remains a key driver of financial market performance and market participants are seeking ways to adapt amidst greater market volatility.

Please join Damian Sassower, Chief Emerging Market Credit Strategist at Bloomberg Intelligence, for a lively discussion on the impact of geopolitical risks on the financial markets. This event is ideal for academics and professors who want to deepen their knowledge of the geopolitical risk premiums within global debt markets and better understand how to use market-implied measures of liquidity, volatility and credit risk to better assess current conditions. Topics covered include the impact on higher bond yields, endurance of dollar hegemony, and durability of coupon income on future total return expectations.

This session will conclude with an audience Q&A moderated by James Coyle, the Head of University Relations at Bloomberg, who will briefly discuss additional tools that educators can use to further enhance their finance course curricula.
