Hakan Binbaşgil joined Akbank as the Executive Vice President in charge of Change Management in October 2002. He initiated the Bank's 'Restructuring Programme' which has transformed Akbank into one of Turkey's most customer-focused, modern and innovative financial institutions. Hakan Binbaşgil was appointed Executive Vice President in charge of Retail Banking in November 2003, Deputy CEO in May 2008, and since January 2012 as Board Member and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank. He also serves as Chairman of Akbank AG Supervisory Board. Prior to joining Akbank, Binbaşgil worked as a Management Consultant in the London and Istanbul offices of Accenture, and as Executive Vice President in a different private sector bank. Binbaşgil also served on the boards of directors of numerous companies domestically and abroad. After graduating from Robert College, Hakan Binbaşgil graduated from Bosphorus University, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Binbaşgil also holds MBA and MS degrees in Finance from Louisiana State University-Baton Rouge, USA.

Hakan Bulgurlu is a leading international businessman, environmentalist and adventurer. Bulgurlu is the head and CEO of Arçelik, a leading global manufacturer of home appliances. Arçelik has annual revenues of five billion euros, is listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange and its brands hold prominent leadership positions across global markets. Under his leadership, Hakan has helped grow the company into an inclusive, sustainable, and responsible business. His vision turned Arçelik into an Industry Leader in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and saw the company included in the FTSE4Good Index for five consecutive years. Arçelik has succeeded in becoming carbon-neutral in global production with its own carbon credits, achieving a major move and an industry first. He is a sought-after speaker at global conferences on topics such as climate change, sustainability and green business. To support the efforts for a transition to a low carbon economy, he joined the High-Level Commission on Carbon Pricing at the World Bank. In 2019, in a bid to raise awareness on the imminent climate crisis, Hakan successfully summited Everest on one of the most notorious days in the mountain’s history. Hakan is a member of the Young Presidents Organization and a founding member of Amstel Dialogues, a CEO round table of European leaders that aims to increase the speed of European innovation. Bulgurlu holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas, in the field of Economics and Mechanical Engineering. He earned his MBA from the joint program of Northwestern University and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Bulgurlu was named a Global Impact Award nominee in 2021 by the Young Presidents Organization.

Aydem Enerji

After receiving a double major in Finance and Business Administration at the Florida International University in the USA, he has completed an MBA at the University of Miami in the same departments. He has started his career at Laurel Oak Financial Services. Between 2005 and 2009, he has served as Director at Morgan Stanley, USA, and then as Project Director at NextEra Energy in Miami, USA between 2009 and 2012. In 2012 he has returned to Turkey and continued to serve as the Project Finance and Commercial Director until 2014 in TANAP, Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project, one of the most important projects in the field of energy carried out with success so far by Turkey and Azerbaijan. Finally, he has carried out duty as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) in SOCAR Turkey. Küpeli serves as the CEO of Aydem Enerji since 2018.

Yerlan Syzdykov

Yerlan Syzdykov is the Global Head of Emerging Markets & Co- Head of Emerging Markets Fixed Income at Amundi, based in the London office. In this role, he is responsible for leading a highly skilled investment team working on debt and equity strategies that covers Asia, Latin America, Emerging Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He is also Lead Portfolio Manager on a number of our Emerging Market Debt strategies. Yerlan has worked on Emerging Markets (EM) throughout his career. He has been involved in managing EM Debt strategies since 2000 when he joined Amundi Asset Management and has played a key role in evolving our investment capability in this area. He joined Amundi Asset Management (previously Pioneer Investments) in 2000 from Bancroft in Paris where he had been working as an Investment Analyst for Private Equity deals. Before this, he worked with various companies in London and Paris within EM equity research. Yerlan started his career as an EM Equity Analyst with Renaissance Capital in Moscow upon completion of his MBA in 1997.
