IBOR Transition for Corporations: Key Themes

Since 2017, the financial markets have taken tentative steps toward a transition away from IBOR to alternative rates. In November 2020 and March 2021, regulators confirmed cessation dates and clear expectations for the end game for IBOR. This session will focus on a number of different aspects of the IBOR transition relevant for Corporate Treasury functions, as the end of IBOR fast approaches. Discussion topics include:
• The end states for existing IBOR trades and positions (fallbacks, repapering)
• Transacting new trades referencing the new alternative rates

Latterly, 4 years providing consultancy, thought leadership and engagement delivery to financial services clients, specialising in Front Office topics and a wide range of emerging risks, including LIBOR transition.
