Stephen Grant is a partner in the Haynes Boone Capital Markets and Securities Practice Group in the Houston office. Stephen focuses his practice on corporate finance and securities law, including securities offerings, M&A, private equity transactions, and general corporate representation. He has extensive experience advising companies, investment banks and underwriters in connection with public and private offerings of equity and debt securities, including SEC registered capital markets transactions, private placements and Rule 144A/Reg S issuances. Stephen counsels public company clients and their boards on corporate governance matters, Exchange Act reporting and SEC compliance. In addition, he regularly represents companies in strategic investments and M&A transactions, both public and private. He also works with private equity investors, their portfolio companies, and a variety of other public and private companies.

Zef worked for 20+ years as a Portfolio Manager and Analyst of Energy securities, trading relative value across asset classes - Equities, Commodities, Debt and Credit. Prior to joining Bloomberg earlier this year, Zef worked at BlueCrest Capital Management, Hess Energy Trading Co (now Hartree Partners), Exxon and NASA Johnson Space Center. Zef has extensive experience conducting oil & gas research, building econometric supply & demand models to forecast crude oil, products & natural gas balances, generating trade ideas and executing cross-asset class trading and hedging strategies. Zef has long standing relationships with oil & gas producers, traders, investors, money managers and has participated in numerous energy conferences as moderator, guest speaker and panelist.

Licensed in Texas and New York, Jeff has more than 19 years of experience representing a variety of clients in the energy and finance industries with secured and unsecured credit facilities, project finance and other structured energy transactions. As the co-chair of the firm's Energy Practice Group, Jeff has broad experience in all facets of the energy business with a focus in the merchant energy industry particularly on working with ISDA, NAESB, EEI and other industry form agreements. He is also a member of the Haynes Boone Executive Committee. Jeff regularly speaks and writes on current topics in the energy industry.

Tim has more than twenty of years of financial services experience and more than eleven years of sell-side equity research experience focused on the oil and gas sector. Before joining EnerCom in October 2021, Tim served as Managing Director and Senior Equity Research Analyst at Oppenheimer, Mizuho Securities USA and Sterne Agee, covering the Exploration & Production industry. His research focused on leverage trends, full-cycle costs, emerging unconventional resource plays, M&A analysis and corporate governance, among other topics. Tim has presented his work at multiple industry conferences, and has marketed to investment clients across the US, Canada, Europe, Israel and Japan. Prior to working on the sell-side, Tim spent nine years in the asset management industry as a quantitative research analyst at BlackRock and Weiss, Peck & Greer. Tim’s research has been frequently cited by reputable media sources, including the Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg, and he has been a frequent contributor on CNBC, Bloomberg TV, BNN and Fox Business News. Tim received a BBA in Finance from the College of William & Mary, where he also completed the degree requirements for a BA in Spanish. He also holds an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and is a CFA charterholder. He is working to obtain his Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute.
