Vanessa joined S&P Global Platts in 2004 working as an oil reporter in London moving to Singapore in 2012 joining the Platts’ Price Group as an oil and shipping methodology and operations specialist. Vanessa moved to her role as Editorial Director, Petrochemicals Asia in November 2017. Prior to joining S&P Global Platts Vanessa was an oil broker, broking bunker fuel and jet fuel in Europe for 8 years. Vanessa is from New Zealand but spent most of her life in the United Kingdom and currently resides in Singapore.

Miranda Zhang is the editor responsible for the polyester chain, covering key products purified terephthalic acid (PTA), monoethylene glycol (MEG) and polyester bottle, fibre and yarn grades. She joined S&P Global Platts in July 2018 from ExxonMobil, where she had five years of manufacturing experience in polymers and olefins sites at ExxonMobil including heading projects at the company to optimize plant safety, reliability, product quality and profitability. She graduated with a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from National University of Singapore.
