Stephanie Sparvero

Stephanie Sparvero joined Bloomberg in September 2016 and currently manages BVAL. She has a global remit that includes Bloomberg Evaluated Pricing for all cash products (BVAL) including GSAC, Municipal Bonds & Securitized Products. She began her time at Bloomberg as the Chief Operating Officer of BVAL, and subsequently became the Global Head of Markets Research and Analysis. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Stephanie spent over 20 years on the buy- and sell-sides. She worked as a Managing Director at Pretium Partners, and at Barclays as Chief Operating Officer for Securitized Products, driving strategy and managing Finance, Risk, and Technology for the global trading business. Prior to Barclays, Stephanie worked at Markit, as the Global Head of Structured Finance Analysts, and C-BASS, as a Senior Vice President in mortgage portfolio management and securitization. Stephanie holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Ed Ma

Ed Ma joined Bloomberg in 2010 and is currently the head of BVAL Municipal Pricing. Ed leads the development of BVAL's municipal pricing services with a firm commitment towards quality, transparency, independent research, and client partnerships. Since joining Bloomberg in 2010, Ed held several roles including BVAL product management and managing a team of Evaluator experts. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Ed began his career as a trader then portfolio manager at Neuberger Berman, managing municipal investment portfolios for high net worth clients. Ed earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University, and is a member of the NFMA. Ed is based in New York and is a proud supporter of Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace.

Andrew Klostermann

Managing Director – Fund Administration

Andrew Klostermann has worked at Charles Schwab Investment Management (CSIM) since 2013 and is currently a Managing Director in the Fund Administration team. Mr. Klostermann oversees CSIM’s Pricing and Fair Valuation Team as well as the Fund Administration group’s Strategic Project & Data efforts. Prior to joining CSIM, Mr. Klostermann oversaw the NAV Quality Assurance group at Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH). He joined BBH as part of the lift-out of the Fund Administration operations at Oppenheimer Funds to BBH. At Oppenheimer, he held several roles including NAV oversight, custodian management, and accounting for structured products and bank loan instruments. Mr. Klostermann earned his Masters of Science in Finance from the University of Colorado at Denver and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

Michael Perilli, CFA, Portfolio Manager for the Municipal Mutual Fund Desk within BlackRock's Global Fixed Income group. Prior to that Mr. Perilli was a member of BlackRock's Municipal Private Client trading desk.

Marta Poleszczuk

Fixed Income Market Structure Strategy

Marta Poleszczuk is responsible for fixed income market structure strategy at Goldman Sachs. She oversees markets-oriented strategy across cash and derivative products. Areas of focus include liquidity, execution, automation and data. Marta is also co-COO of the Goldman Sachs Americas Women’s Network. Prior to assuming her current role, Marta was responsible for selling the firm’s futures and OTC clearing services. Marta joined Goldman Sachs in 2005. Marta earned a BA in Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and is a CFA Charterholder.

Mark Kirim

Risk and Valuation Specialist

As a member of the risk and valuation specialists team, Mark is responsible for supporting client engagement and business development for Bloomberg's suite of independent pricing, liquidity, and enterprise risk solutions. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Mark spent 10 years overseeing valuation, accounting, and portfolio risk operations at State Street and BNY Mellon. Most recently, he was responsible for the development and execution of valuation control policies and NAV oversight within State Street's asset servicing business.

Frank Gavin

Pricing Operations

Frank Gavin is a member of the Pricing Operations team at BlackRock. Frank's responsibilities include oversight of U.S., Canadian, and Latin American pricing policy as well as working with auditors, vendors, and administrators related to valuation. Frank co-chairs both the US/Canada and Latin America Pricing Committees. Prior to joining BlackRock, Frank spent 13 years overseeing fund accounting and valuation for a client account at BNY Mellon. Frank earned a B.S. and M.S. in Finance both from the University of Delaware.

Andrew Hui

Valuation Oversight

J.P. Morgan Asset Management

Andrew is currently responsible for valuation oversight of all investment assets held in JP Morgan Funds as well as the development and implementation of technology processes in that interest. Prior to JP Morgan Asset Management, Andrew has held various positions in investment management as well as control functions at Barclays and Bank of America that has helped develop proficiency across various types of financial instruments. Andrew has received degrees from Columbia University & UC Berkeley.

Justin Palmer

Global Head of Operations

Responsible for all middle office and oversight of back office functions that include but are not limited to trade settlements, portfolio management support, guideline monitoring, derivatives processing, regulatory reporting, pricing and valuation, client and portfolio services
