Shri Injeti Srinivas

Shri Injeti Srinivas belongs to the 1983 batch of the Indian Administrative Service (Odisha cadre). He retired from service in May 2020 after serving for nearly 37 years in various leadership roles in the Government of India and the Government of Odisha. During his tenures, he was closely associated with the liberalization of foreign direct investment policy and industrial policy reforms, played a key role in the implementation of several major economic reforms, including the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, and implemented several initiatives aimed at enhancing the ease of doing business, including decriminalization of certain offences under the Companies Act. He is currently a member of the Financial Stability and Development Council (FSDC) and the sub-committee under it. On July 9, 2020, he assumed the responsibility of the first Chairperson of the newly established International Financial Services Centres Authority. He graduated in Economics (Honors) from the University of Delhi’s Shriram College of Commerce and attained his Master’s in Business Administration from Srathclyde Graduate Business School in the UK.

Dipesh Shah

Mr. Shah has over 20 years of professional experience in international business, project development, corporate affairs, corporate law and policy matters. His most prominent achievements include helping set up India’s first smart city and International Financial Services Centre (IFSC). Before joining IFSCA in December 2020, he made substantial progress in helping GIFT City become recognized as India’s model smart city. He is responsible for bringing in regulatory and business changes at GIFT IFSC to bring in banks, international exchanges, and insurance and re-insurance companies to undertake offshore transactions. He now heads Development and International Relations at IFSCA. Mr. Shah holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is Chartered Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) & Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, UK. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the IFSC.

Richard was commissioned into the Royal Air Force as a pilot in 1989, and specialized in combat helicopter duties during his 18-year career. In 2004, he became Equerry to Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall for two years. He returned in 2008 to be Their Royal Highnesses’ Master of the Household, a COO role, managing domestic and global operations until 2014. Following this, he became Vice Chairman of Standard Chartered Private Bank, covering around 250 ultra-high net worth families globally. After leaving Standard Chartered, Richards became CEO of UAE-based KEF Holdings, until the successful exit of the main operating company to Silicon Valley-based Katerra. In 2019, Richard was appointed Senior Advisor to Zerodha, a Bangalore-based fintech unicorn, and also co-founded True Beacon, a zero standing-fee fund for ultra-high net worth individuals. The fund has delivered a 29.7% absolute return, beating the Indian benchmark by 26.6% and outperforming other Indian hedge funds by 4x. Richard holds a BA in Business Studies and an MSc in Strategic Studies.

Tushar Sachade

Currently a partner in PwC’s Tax and Regulatory Services practice, Tushar has 27 years of experience working with many clients in the financial services space. He specializes in entry strategies and fund structuring of global, institutional and startup funds from the tax and regulatory perspective. He has also been integrally involved in several high-profile private equity transactions on tax and regulatory structuring, including deal structuring. He started his career with RSM & Co., and after its merger with PwC, was a partner in the firm for three years. After that he was with KPMG for six years, with his most recent role being the Co-head of x-LoS in the private equity practice. Tushar has worked with various industry bodies, including advising IVCA and FICCI on making representations on several industry issues, and has interacted regularly with regulators, including SEBI, on REITs-related legislation and AIF funds. Tushar is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Nitin Jaiswal is Head of Government Affairs & External Relations for Bloomberg in Asia-Pacific, the world's most trusted source for real-time and historical financial data, news, research and analytics. Based in Singapore, Mr. Jaiswal works with government, regulators, business leaders and think tanks to help advance market development in emerging and developed countries. Through strategic initiatives, spanning financial market structure to green finance, he looks to leverage Bloomberg's global network and expertise as a leading data and information company to affect positive change and accelerate development in Asia, a region that is shaping global markets.
