Emerging technologies like hydrogen, electrolysis and carbon capture could transform how steel is made beyond 2030, but when will they be able to compete with today’s green production methods? Join us to discuss our research on technology costs for low-carbon steel, the policy support needed to scale them in the future, and how steel consumers willing to pay green premiums are driving the market today.

Brazil has considerable resources and expertise to become a leader in green steel. Using highlights from our energy and commodities research. Our experts will explore how companies in Brazil can leverage these advantages to serve demand for low-carbon steel today, and position themselves at the forefront of the next generation of steel-making.

The audience will also have the opportunity to participate on a Q&A that will answers questions on topics such as regional considerations, the role of mega-producers like China, and what’s happening in the sector in other regions.
