Pakorn Peetathawatchai became President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) in June 2018. Prior to becoming President, he was Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Finance Officer since January 2013 - May 2018. In addition, he also oversees the Capital Market Research Institution which is the research arm of the exchange to help strengthen and shape the development of the capital market in Thailand. He had been Chief Marketing Officer, The Stock Exchange of Thailand, during 2010-2012 where he was responsible for the exchange's products, which are equities, bonds and derivatives, information services and market access. In additional, he supervised customer and channel services to securities companies, retail investors, and domestic and international institutional investors. Before joining The Stock Exchange of Thailand in 2010, Pakorn was a Senior Executive Vice President for Mit Phol Sugar Corp., Ltd. where he supervised the company's Finance, Information Technology and Risk Management. He has strong treasury background from Siam Commercial Bank PCL. as Head of the Bank's Treasury Group and investment experience as Chairperson of the Investment Committee at SCNY Life and as Advisor to the Investment Committee, Government Pension Fund, and a member of the Capital Development Sub-Committee, Ministry of Finance, a member of the Asian Bond Fund - Thailand Monitoring Committee, Bank of Thailand. And Director and Chairman of Business Supervisory Committee, TSFC Securities PCL., Director of Secondary Mortgage Corporation. He received his Ph.D. in Finance and Economics from Boston University.

Deep Thomas is Nomura's Group Data Officer, responsible for leading the firm's data and analytics strategy and improving business outcomes from data. Deep is based in Singapore. He is also responsible for identifying and developing partnerships within Nomura and externally to facilitate growth and innovation, and leading digital-led transformation across the various divisions of the firm. Deep has over 25 years of data and analytics leadership experience. Prior to joining Nomura in July 2021, he was the Group Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Aditya Birla Group. Before that, he was the Founder-CEO of Tata Insights & Quants. Deep has also spent 18+ years with the global financial services groups. He led Citigroup's Global Decision Management Center of Excellence across India, Budapest and regional offices to support its global retail and commercial banking businesses across 25 markets. Deep has also led HSBC's Global Marketing Analytics Centre across India and China to steer its retail banking and consumer finance marketing initiatives. he also held key global leadership positions with American Express in the US. Deep holds an MBA in International Marketing from Arizona State University, an MS in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, and a BE in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai. He also holds 20+ patents in decision science and analytics.

Ronil Sujan has over 20 years of experience across India and Asia. He has been on several Boards in a strategic capacity and has been involved in multi-asset/multi-family office strategies. He began his career with United Technologies in Internal Audit in 1990 in Farmington, CT and subsequently a senior professional career in banking and investing. In the last seven of his fourteen years with the Rabobank Group, Ronil was the Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking Asia-Pacific at Rabobank International. He was on the Board and Global Exco of the global JV with NM Rothschilds and a member on the senior management team of the Bank in Asia. Prior to this, Ronil was a co-Founder and Director at Rabo India Finance which was successfully acquired by Rabobank Group. Ronil has been on the Board of Rotary, and a Committee Member of SID and IMAS. He also serves as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at INSEAD Business School and on The Innovation Grant Evaluation  Committee at SMU. Ronil completed his FMP from Stanford University, MBA from Texas A&M University and BA from Muhlenberg College, where he was a Dana Foundation Scholar. In addition, he completed the Leadership Program at Harvard University, the Social Entrepreneurship Program at INSEAD, and Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Finance from NUS.

Eric Nietsch

Head of ESG Research and Integration Asia

Eric is responsible for setting the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) research, integration, and active ownership agenda in Asia. In his role, he conducts proprietary research to identify and manage investment risks and opportunities related to the sustainability strategies of companies in the region. He also works with Asian-based portfolio managers on evaluating ESG exposures at a portfolio level. Eric collaborates with the ESG team on methodologies for product development and represents the firm’s ESG capabilities among the local investment community. He chairs the physical risk and resilience working group of the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change and is a member of the investment leaders working group of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. Prior to joining the firm, Eric led the sustainable finance initiatives for Asia-Pacific at S&P Global, where he helped to develop and launch the ESG evaluation framework. He worked closely with analysts across the region to evaluate ESG exposures in corporate and infrastructure entities. Before joining the sustainable finance team, he covered various sectors as a credit ratings analyst at Standard & Poor’s in both the United States and Asia. Prior to that, Eric worked on an equity portfolio at Barclays in New York and on the special situations desk of the boutique investment bank StormHarbour Partners. He is a member of the CFA Society of Singapore and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Eu-Jin Teoh

Co-Head, Equity Data Strategies

Eu Jin is a portfolio manager overseeing the quantamental efforts for equities in GIC, and co-heads its data strategies team which focuses on leveraging data and technology in the investment process. He previously spent 12 years in systematic investing as a quantitative portfolio manager and researcher, first in the macro space and then for the past decade, within equities. Natural language processing, machine learning and alternative data are core to all these efforts. He graduated with a Ph.D. in engineering focusing on machine learning algorithms. At the moment, he spends his free time restoring and playing old cellos as well as keeping his 2 young sons busy.

Archana Parekh

Senior Portfolio Manager

Archana Parekh is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Millennium Management overseeing global financial and technology portfolios.  Previously, she was a portfolio manager at SeaTown Holdings, an absolute return investment firm which is wholly owned by Temasek Holdings, where she managed the global financials and technology equity and credit portfolios in both public and private asset classes. Before that, she worked at Temasek as a director covering the financials sector looking at global private and public transactions. Prior to that, she worked in New York with EY.    She has served on the advisory board for Sea (Garena) Ltd which went on to become one of the most successful SE Asian companies to IPO on the NYSE and served on the board of Fullerton India Credit Corporation, a financial firm in India focused on SME and retail lending.    Parekh serves on the Stanford GSB Trust Board, the Singapore board of the United Women Singapore (previously United Nations Development Fund for Women), founded the Singapore chapter for 100 Women in Hedge Funds and is now on the Global Board for 100 Women in Finance. She also serves on the Finance Committee for the Singapore American School.    She has an MBA from Stanford University where she was an Arjay Miller Scholar and a BA in Computer Science with a minor in Economics from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, USA.

Vatsan Sudersan

Vatsan Sudersan is Head of Global Data, Asia Pacific where he oversees regional operations across 8 offices and more than 15 markets. He started his career in Bloomberg in 2007 as a data analyst and later led the ASEAN equities team. In 2012, Vatsan took on responsibilities to lead the Asia Pacific Equities team in Princeton, New Jersey and soon after, returned to the Singapore Office to lead the Global Data team. He is a graduate from the National University of Singapore and is a Chartered Certified Accountant.

Xin Lee Lee

Xin Lee heads the APAC Ownership & Portfolio team in Global Data. She is an experienced leader having managed various products across the department, including Syndicated Loans, Cash-Securitization Products and Capital Structure. Xin Lee started her career in the syndicated loans space, where she later joined Bloomberg to build up the Syndicated Loans product. In 2011, she led the team and partnered with the Asia-Pacific Loan Market Association (APLMA) to organize the first and coveted APLMA Syndicated Loans Awards. She was also nominated into APLMA Young Leaders Committee in 2018. Additionally, she spearheaded the China ABS data coverage which led to Bloomberg to be awarded Most Comprehensive Data by the China Securitization Forum in 2019. Xin Lee graduated with a Bachelors of Economics degree from University of Sydney in Australia, where she studied Economics, Marketing and Organizational Management. As a strong believer of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Xin Lee also leads the APAC Global Data D&I task force and is a executive member of the Bloomberg Working Families Community.

Esther Tsang

Esther Tsang is an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Analyst for Bloomberg Intelligence. Esther’s research focuses on identifying and analyzing current and future trends, including Asia ESG market and regulations update, climate change, carbon emissions and corporate governance and linking performance to financial value. Esther also specializes in understanding ESG disclosure and how key metrics can be incorporated in traditional company analysis. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Esther worked as an ESG consulting manager at Ernst & Young, providing ESG strategy and risk consulting services for financial institutions, corporates and governments. She started her career at Sustainalytics as an ESG analyst, focusing on real estate and TMT. Esther holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management and Technology (HKUST) from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She currently is an adviser of the HKUST Business School Green Finance Bachelor Programme.

Ardha is a Fixed Income Data Consultant for Asia Pacific. He joined Bloomberg in September 2020. Ardha collaborates with Sales and Product teams at Bloomberg in supporting clients achieve business outcome using Bloomberg Global Data coverage. He also participates in training for clients. Working closely with Sales teams, Ardha is involved in industry engagements for Fixed income market initiatives in some of the Asian markets.

Anuvi Godha

Anuvi Godha joined Bloomberg in 2016 within the Mumbai office covering Mutual Funds & ETFs in South Asia. She is now based in Hong Kong, managing the Hedge Fund database for Asia Pacific and helping them gain exposure to allocators. Anuvi graduated from University of Warwick with a BSc in Economics.
