Bing Li oversees Bloomberg’s financial information and enterprise business across the Asia Pacific region. Based in Hong Kong, he is responsible for the firm’s business and product strategy, including the Bloomberg Terminal, the world’s most trusted source of financial data, news and analytics for global investors, leading financial institutions and corporations. Mr. Li has decades of experience in global bond markets and is a frequent commentator on investing in Greater China’s financial markets. Mr. Li was previously Head of Greater China at Bloomberg (a role he still retains), leading the team to provide customers with best-in-class data, analytics, trading tools and market connectivity. He has also driven a number of strategic partnerships with key regulators and leading financial institutions to advance the region's financial market development. Under Mr. Li's leadership, the Greater China region has been the fastest growing market for the company. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Mr. Li was head of Fixed Income at Bank of China (Hong Kong), responsible for sales, trading and research. Mr. Li joined the bank from Tandem Global Partners, a New York based Fixed Income asset manager, where he was a partner and portfolio manager covering the Asia Pacific region. Before Tandem, Mr. Li served as Vice President at Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong and was a core team member of the Equity Derivatives department. Mr. Li worked for HSBC and then JP Morgan in the early years of his career, where he traded bonds and fixed income derivatives. Mr. Li earned his B.A. from Rutgers University.

Edmond Lau

Mr Edmond Lau is responsible for external affairs, financial infrastructure and research. He holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in Economics and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Hong Kong. Mr Lau joined the Hong Kong Government as an Administrative Officer in 1986. He joined the HKMA in 1997 as Division Head (Banking Development) and had been involved in banking reform and the establishment of the Deposit Protection Scheme. He also served as the Administrative Assistant to the Chief Executive of the HKMA in 2004 after a one-year secondment to the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau. Mr Lau was promoted as Executive Director (Strategy and Risk) in 2005. He assumed the post of Executive Director (Monetary Management) from 2007 to 2013 when he resigned from the HKMA to pursue further study and, thereafter, take up a leadership role in an NGO. Mr Lau joined HKMC Annuity Limited as Chief Executive Officer in 2017.

Eddie Lau

Eddie Lau has 18 years of investment management and corporate management experience with global investment banks and leading asset managers in Asia and North America.  He joined Rongtong Global Investment as Chief Investment Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer in 2018 to lead the international investment effort in equities, fixed income, external multi-managers and China cross-border solutions.  Eddie began his career as a convertible bond trader with UBS in the U.S. in 2002.  From 2006, he managed multi-asset absolute-return portfolios at Elliott Advisors and Merrill Lynch Global Proprietary Trading Group respectively.  From 2010, Eddie co-found PCA Investment and Harmony Advisors where he managed absolute-return portfolios and global multi-asset portfolios respectively as a senior portfolio manager.  Eddie graduated from the University of Chicago with B.A. in Economics with Honors in 2002.

Freddy Wong

Head of Asia Pacific, Fixed Income

Freddy Wong joined Invesco in 2019 and is Head of Asia Pacific, Fixed Income. He is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Invesco Fixed Income business in Hong Kong, with a focus on developing distribution for product suites. Freddy has over 16 years of experience in the financial industry across Greater China. Prior to joining Invesco, he was the Chief Investment Officer of Fidelity International in Shanghai where he oversaw all Fixed Income investments for China. Freddy worked for Fidelity in various capacities managing Fixed Income since 2003 including as Portfolio Manager, Head Trader and Associate Director. Freddy was named as Asia's Most Astute Investor in G3 Bond Market by The Asset Magazine for six consecutive years from 2011-16. He is a Professional Manager under the Hong Kong Management Association. Freddy holds a Master of Finance and a Bachelor of Engineering from The University of Hong Kong.

Bloomberg Index and Portfolio North Asia ex Japan Manager

Kristy Wang serves as manager for Bloomberg Index and Portfolio Risk North Asia Ex Japan business. Her department is responsible for sales and support for Bloomberg Index and Portfolio management system clients, who are mainly asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds and sovereign funds. Since joining Bloomberg in 2006, she had been focusing on sales and client support of AIM (Asset and Management system) in greater China for two years, and then heading the department for North Asia ex Japan till 2018. During this period, her department business increased more than 300%. With the big business opportunity for index in Asia, she moved to the new role beginning of 2019. Till mid of 2020, Index revenue from region she covered increased 150%. Which includes a 400% increase from China Mainland. Before joining Bloomberg, Kristy was a trader and then risk manager for global investment in Shenzhen Development bank (now was renamed as Ping An Bank) between 2003 and 2006. Kristy holds Financial Master and bachelor’s degree from Nankai University.

Mushtaq Kapasi

Managing Director and Chief Representative, Asia Pacific

Mushtaq Kapasi is ICMA’s Chief Representative for the Asia-Pacific region. He has been based in Hong Kong since 2002, engaged in senior strategy, capital market and legal roles covering the region at international banks active in Asia. He has worked as a lawyer in debt capital markets and derivatives, a structurer in equities and fixed income, a manager of complex trades with regulatory and accounting considerations, and an adviser to top executives on emerging market strategy. He has also served as a consultant on financial structures of renewable energy projects in frontier markets. He is a member of the New York State Bar, and studied mathematics at the University of Texas and law at Yale University.

Ryan Chung

Co-head of Huatai GBA Investment Fund

Mr. Ryan Chung has over 20 years of private credit, private equity and capital markets experience in Asia. Mr. Chung founded the private credit investment team for Huatai International in 2014 and have deployed over US$1.5 billion principal capital in structured credit investments. He is responsible for the Huatai GBA Investment Fund to invest within the GBA region. Prior to Huatai, Mr. Chung was a founding partner of the US$1 billion China-ASEAN Investment Fund specializing in private equity investments in infrastructure, energy and natural resources. Mr. Chung also served at UBS investment banking team and Citi leverage finance team covering Asia Pacific. Mr. Chung has also received his Chartered Civil Engineer status from United Kingdom and Hong Kong. He has a master degree in Civil Engineering and Finance from Imperial College and Cass Business School London respectively.

Teresa Chiu

Teresa Chiu is the APAC Head of Automation at Bloomberg, spearheading adoption of its advanced automation tools in the region across both trading and non-trading workflows. She also facilitates the integration of Bloomberg's Enterprise data solutions across the front and back office. Teresa started her career at Sun Hung Kai Financial as a Quantitative Analyst before moving to ULLINK for five years as a Technical Account Manager for institutional trading products.

Vicky Cheng

Vicky Cheng is Head of Government and Regulatory Affairs Asia Pacific, overseeing government relations and regulatory developments impacting Bloomberg and its clients in the region. Before joining Bloomberg, Vicky worked in both the public and private sectors. Her focus has been policy and regulatory development, advising senior management on related requirements and implementations. Vicky drove advocacy and public affairs programmes for various organizations including global corporates and financial institutions. During her time with an international law firm, Vicky led business development and thought leadership strategies for the Financial Services Regulatory and Dispute Resolution practices. She began her career with a Government providing policy analysis and communications.

Wayne Curry is head of Hong Kong, Taiwan & Korean enterprise sales at Bloomberg LP., the global business, financial information and news leader. Based in Hong Kong, Mr. Curry oversees regional strategy for Bloomberg’s financial products including the Bloomberg Professional service, the world's most trusted source of financial data, news and analytics. He leads a team that serves the financial information needs of leading corporations, regional banks, fund managers and the financial services industry. Mr. Curry has market expertise in foreign exchange, equities, fixed income, commodities and emerging/frontier markets. He joined Bloomberg in 2010 where he worked across a number of the firm’s offices including New York, Australia and Hong Kong, overseeing sales strategies & teams for buy-side, sell-side and corporations. He most recently led Bloomberg’s APAC corporations and commodities strategy. Mr. Curry received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics & History from the Maxwell School of Public Policy at Syracuse University.
