What’s Next for Private Credit After the Pandemic

Private debt. Alternative lending. Shadow banking. No matter what you call it, non-bank lending -- which has boomed to an $890 billion market in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis -- faced its first major test during the coronavirus pandemic. The asset class, on pace to grow to $1.5 trillion by 2025, is likely to see more growth and challenges in the coming year. In this first-of-its-kind event, Bloomberg News will hear from some of the industry's top players, including Ares Management, Tikehau Capital, CDPQ and Neuberger Berman, on what comes next for credit managers and investors.
