Chimdi Momah is a Product Manager in Bloomberg’s BVAL Securitised Products team, responsible for BVAL’s securitised pricing products across the EMEA and APAC regions. He has over eight years of experience at Bloomberg in both evaluator and product roles within the securitised products space. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Chimdi spent seven years on the sell side at Nomura and the Royal Bank of Scotland in RMBS and CLO research and trading roles. He holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Aberdeen and is a CFA charterholder.

Reto Bachmann is the Chief Structured Finance Strategist at Bloomberg Intelligence. He covers Global CLOs, International Covered Bonds and International ABS. Based in London, Reto has 25 years of experience covering Corporate and Structured Credit Products across Developed and Emerging Markets. Prior to joining Bloomberg in 2024, Reto was a Structured Finance Supervisor at the Financial Conduct Authority, a Head of Credit Research and the Global Sector Lead for Real Estate, Infrastructure and Structured Finance at Aviva Investors, the Head of European ABS Research at Barclays Capital, the Head of European ABS Research at UBS and a European ABS Research Strategist, Analyst and Modeller at Lehman Brothers. Reto holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Chicago Booth at the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, having transferred to Wharton from the Ouestrom School of Business at Boston University

Connor Buttner, a Managing Director and Head of the Client Success at KANERAI, has more than a decade of experience working with clients to deliver financial technology solutions. At KANERAI, working with industry-leading buy-side and sell-side market participants in the structured credit market, Connor has helped enable clients with innovative custom solutions as well as implement KANERAI’s turn-key analytics platforms, including KANERAI’s suite of web-based and Excel-based interactive analytics, APIs, and portfolio optimization solutions. Prior to joining KANERAI, Connor was a credit product specialist at Moody’s, where he focused on corporate credit and quantitative default tools for financial institutions throughout North America.

Gary Effman is a Structured Products and Credit Market Specialist at Bloomberg. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Gary spent 10 years at Bank One in Chicago managing a $1 billion ABS portfolio along with various other proprietary investment portfolios focused on CLOs, ABS and non-agency MBS. He also worked in the credit risk management group hedging the Bank’s financial services portfolio. He subsequently worked at two mortgage/structured products hedge funds in CT. Gary received his undergraduate degree from Brown University and earned an MBA from the University of Chicago. He also holds the CFA designation.
