Matthew Ekroth leads the EMEA Data Strategy effort for Corporate clients. Matt specialises in helping clients solve supply chain problems with Bloomberg's Supply Chain, ESG and Sanctions products. Matt spent over 15 years as a quantitative equities Portfolio Manager at firms including Goldman Sachs and Engineers Gate in both London and New York. More recently he headed data strategy for equities trading at Morgan Stanley in London. Matt holds an MSc in Finance from London Business School.

Hongcheol Kim

Hongcheol Kim, Supply Chain Analyst based in Korea, provides data analysis and related insights in the form of news and seminar focusing on Semiconductor/IT as well as EV battery related industries. Hongcheol received bachelor's degrees in physics and business from the University of Seoul. Prior to joining Bloomberg, he worked as a marketing & sales director at a company he co-founded in early 2010, and since then has accumulated various experiences in the data-based consulting area ; Worked at the Data Base Consulting dept of Siemens HQ in Germany, Provided business/IT consulting in Kenya and Malawi. After joining Bloomberg, he worked as a Fundamental data analyst for three and a half years.

Andy is an Energy Storage Associate at BloombergNEF. He leads the company’s coverage on energy storage technologies and the lithium battery supply chain, providing insights on technology, markets and regulations. He leverages his background in battery research to provide key insights into the chemistries, applications and markets for lithium-ion batteries. Prior to joining BNEF Andy completed a PhD at the University of Southampton. He then went on to work as a research fellow at the University College London for four years, researching lithium-ion batteries.
