Tian is a senior investment manager and member of the Investment Committee. He joined Springs Capital in 2016 and covers consumer, internet, media, education and entertainment sectors. Prior to Springs Capital, Tian was a senior associate in Shanda Group’s CEO office. Before joining Shanda, Tian worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong as an analyst. Tian holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Economics, summa cum laude, from Duke University.

Marvin Chen

Equity Strategist

Marvin is a BI Equity Strategist covering China and North Asian equities. Marvin has over 10 years of research experience covering Greater China. Prior to joining Bloomberg, he spent over 8 years at J.P. Morgan, beginning with the economics team, covering Asia regional and Greater China, and later expanded coverage to include China equity strategy, bringing a macro top-down approach. Marvin also has sector research experience covering China financials at various sell-side brokerages. Marvin holds a master's degree in finance from the University of Hong Kong and received his bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Ryan Keunho Kim

Equity Workflow Specialist

Ryan has deep workflow experience in global equities, quantamental investment, ESG integration. He combines his knowledge of fundamental research, quantitative analysis and data science to draw insights about global markets and data. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Ryan worked 11 years on the buy-side in Hong Kong and South Korea where he managed global equity funds based on quantamental approach and set up a multi-factor quant hedgfund in Asia. Ryan has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Korea University, an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin - McCombs School of Business and a Master of Data Science from U.C. Berkeley.

Rachel Li

Ms. Rachel Li, who joined Bloomberg in 2014, is the New York based China product manager. Before relocation to US, Rachel has worked in China as Bloomberg APAC Market Specialist for six years. Prior to her career with Bloomberg, Rachel was a trader and portfolio manager for 13 years in China Citic Bank, Standard Chartered Bank(China) LTD and Taikang Life asset management corporation. Rachel holds master’s and doctor’s degree in finance from Tsinghua University.

Catherine Lim

Senior Industry Analyst, Asia-Pacific Consumer Discretionary

Catherine Lim has more than 15 years of equity research experience in consumer related businesses in Asia, and spent the last decade in Hong Kong covering various consumer sub-sectors across Greater China. Prior to joining Bloomberg Intelligence, Catherine held several roles at various leading investment banks, including CLSA, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse and Citigroup. Catherine earned her Bachelor's degree in Finance from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
