Eddie Cheng joined Cathay Securities Investment Trust in 2013 and has since risen to the position of head of both ETF and Mutual Fund Division. In his current role, he oversees investment leadership, research, and ETF capital market functions at CathaySITE. Under Eddie’s leadership, CathaySITE has seen significant growth, with the introduction of its first ETF leading to the management of 69 products and an increase in assets under management (AUM) to TWD 1 Trillion over the past decade. The ETF and mutual fund product line at CathaySITE spans various asset classes, including equity, fixed income, multi-asset, leveraged, and inverse products. Eddie’s team stands as the largest investment and research team in the Taiwan asset management landscape. Prior to his current position, Eddie held roles in interest rate derivatives trading at a bank and led the Futures Proprietary Trading Team at a securities firm. He also gained valuable experience in global financial markets trading at a securities firm in Hong Kong

Jungmin Kim has performed activities associated with leading the research and development of global strategy indices across multi-asset classes at Cboe for over 12 years. At Bloomberg, the role is responsible for the conceptualization, design, and construction of equity, options, commodities, and volatility strategy indices which serve as the underlying for index-linked investment products such as exchange-traded products (ETFs, ETNs) and derivative products. Jungmin Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Hongik University and a Master of Science in Analytics from the University of Chicago. He is seeking a Ph.D. in Quantitative Finance from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

His responsibilities include new product development with a focus on systematic strategies and advising clients on creating customized solutions. William started his career in 2010 with Bloomberg in the portfolio analytics group, is a CFA® charterholder and a certified FRM.

Paul Salerno is the Global Head of Index Sales and Relationship Management, a role he has been in since late 2019. He led both PORT and Index sales at Bloomberg following the acquisition of Barclays Risk, Analytics and Index Solutions for three years prior. At Barclays Investment Bank, he had served for eight years as Head of Index and POINT Sales and Marketing (Americas), and subsequently as Co-Head of Barclays Risk Analytics and Index Solutions. Before Barclays, he was a Senior Vice President in Research for Lehman Brothers until 2008. He started his career at Bloomberg in 1996. Paul graduated from Rutgers University in 1996 with a BS in Finance.
