Global Luxury Goods are expecting a tale of two halves with early challenges in most companies yielding to improvements later in the year as the industry rebuilds in China and travel retail. Consumer confidence, inflation and interest rate forecasts across key European countries, the US and China are major drivers for shopper behaviour. Investor expectations appear preoccupied with tough 1H24 comparisons after mixed 2023 results, but we are optimistic about mid-term opportunities for the industry.

Please join Deborah Aitken, Bloomberg Intelligence Senior Luxury Goods Analyst, and Tom Orlik, Bloomberg Economics Global Chief economist, as they share their data, analysis and insights to link the luxury goods market and global economic landscape.
