He works extensively with commodity merchants, corporations, national oil companies and integrated energy groups to drive strategies that grow their businesses through the use of technology. He previously held front line oil trading roles at BP for 16 years, working in both London and Singapore, as well as at Oak Capital and ICAP. He has recently joined Bloomberg to enhance the commodity offering.

Wayne is the lead analyst for the short-term oil markets at BloombergNEF. He is the lead author of BloombergNEF's regular oil market reports, and design analytics tools on spreadsheets for oil traders. He was also involved in the Hydrogen Special Projects, focusing on and modelling the economics of demand in the chemical and transportation sectors.
