Dr. Jude Kastens is Director of the Kansas Applied Remote Sensing Laboratory (KARS) at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS. There he leads a team of statisticians, database developers and analysts that provide remote sensing data for agricultural applications, including global crop yield forecasts. Jude also co-manages with his father and brother a 25,000+ acre grain farming operation in Northwest Kansas and Nebraska.
