Prior to joining Bloomberg in 2016, Thomas worked for 15 years at Morgan Stanley and 2 years at Jefferies in London as a trader in rates and credit products.
Eugene Stern

Eugene Stern is the product head for MARS Market Risk, a Bloomberg platform that ties together the firm’s market data, reference data, and instrument-level analytics into a market risk offering for both risk managers and the front office. He helped start the business and has held a number of different leadership roles in product management, implementations, and client services. Prior to Bloomberg, Eugene spent ten years at RiskMetrics, where he started as a quant researcher, building models for market and credit risk, and eventually moved to the business side, leading the product management team and overseeing all offerings across the risk business. Eugene holds a Ph.D. in Math from UC Berkeley, and worked at the University of Pennsylvania as a lecturer in mathematics before moving away from academia to work in risk.

Ken Yanai is a Product Manger responsible for Bloomberg's Accounting and Compliance data and solutions. He works with various market players to develop, enhance and maintain the Accounting and Compliance data set and solutions. Prior to joining the Regulatory and Accounting Product team, Ken worked as a Risk, Valuation & Regulatory specialist sales in Japan leading initiatives including IFRS13 convergence and liquidity regulation for asset managers.

Joe is a Senior Policy Analyst for Government Relations and Regulatory Strategy in the Government Affairs and Regulatory Policy Group. He joined Bloomberg in October of 2021 after serving in the administration of New York State Gov. Andrew Cuomo where he oversaw the research and vetting operation in the Executive Office at the New York State Department of Financial Services. In addition to working on traditional market structure issues, his policy portfolio covers digital assets, artificial intelligence, New York City and New York State policy. Joe completed his bachelors degree in public policy at the University at Albany, SUNY, and his masters degree in political management at The George Washington University.
