Hugh Bromley leads BloombergNEF’s Sustainable Agriculture research team. Hugh has more than a decade of experience helping companies and policymakers navigate the energy and ecological transition. Hugh has previously led BNEF’s consumer research, understanding how clean-tech such as alternative proteins, solar PV, batteries and electric vehicles can disrupt markets. Before that he led clean energy research for North America, and produced analysis on distributed energy, utility strategy, and carbon markets within the firm’s Australia research team. Prior to BNEF, Hugh worked as an energy consultant focusing on smart-grid and distributed technology integration. He holds a BE (Hons) in Photovoltaic Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

In his 24th year on the banking side of Wall Street, Brian utilizes long-term fundamentals alongside technically assisted trading strategies to project better price entry into markets. Brian’s footprint encompasses a large portion of the U.S. poultry industry as well as the ethanol industry, Fortune 500 food processors, and some prominent hedge funds. His career has spanned the likes of UBS, Prudential, and Jefferies, prior to joining Macquarie in the summer of 2015 as a Director of Macquarie Futures. Brian received his B.S. in Finance from Villanova University.
