Mike McGlone is a senior commodity strategist for Bloomberg Intelligence, a unique research platform that provides context on industries, companies, and government policy, available on the Bloomberg Professional service at BI GO . Mr. McGlone specializes in the broad investible commodity and crypto markets, authoring the monthly Bloomberg Commodity Outlook and Bloomberg Crypto Outlook.

Mr. McGlone joined Bloomberg in 2016 with over 25 years of futures and commodity trading and investing experience, beginning at the Chicago Board of Trade. Prior to joining Bloomberg, he was a head of U.S. research at ETF Securities. Prior to ETF Securities, Mr. McGlone headed the commodity business at S&P Indices. His previous roles included head of futures research at ABN Amro and VP research, analyst, trader, sales at Aubrey G. Lanston / IBJ Futures.

Mr. McGlone has an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago and bachelor’s of science and arts degrees from Illinois State University. He is a CFA Charter holder and has earned a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation.

John Lagman

John Lagman is Bloomberg's APAC Crypto Lead. He joined Bloomberg at the end of June 2014, and works with the Sales teams to provide solutions to address the complex needs of the clients. This is done via direct one-on-one training or seminars on FX and introducing and explaining how Bloomberg applications can help make clients’ workflows more efficient. He also provides feedback internally on applications to develop in order to assess the clients’ needs.

John has 14+ years of experience as an FX Options Trader/Manager based in Singapore and was an FX Options Trainer for ACI Singapore and Malaysia. Previously, he also worked for 2+ years on the buyside as a FX/Rates/Credit Execution Trader & Strategist. He has a B.S. in Economics from Purdue University and a Masters in Economics from Brandeis University.

Tomoko Yamazaki

Tomoko Yamazaki is the Asia lead for Bloomberg News' Product Strategy team as well as an editor for the Markets Live blog. In the past 21 years at Bloomberg News, she has been the team leader for emerging markets coverage in Asia, an editor for the FX/rates team and a hedge fund reporter.

Tomoko began her career at Bloomberg in Tokyo and moved to Singapore in 2011. She has covered various financial assets including debt and currencies as well as hedge funds and real estate industries in the course of her career at Bloomberg. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Tomoko worked in New York with Japan’s Jiji Press.

Jamie Coutts, CMT

Jamie is the buyside workflow specialist for Bloomberg in Singapore covering equities, crypto and digital assets. Jamie joined Bloomberg in 2014 to lead the alpha capture platform for equity trade ideas before broadening coverage to the entire buyside workflow.

Jamie works in a consultative manner with asset management, hedge fund and private wealth clients to address workflow challenges faced by front office teams. Key areas of focus include idea generation, investment research, quantitative research, ESG integration, technical analysis, cryptocurrency and digital assets. By working across Bloomberg enterprise product teams, Jamie also helps align solutions to the operational alpha objectives of clients.

Prior to Bloomberg, Jamie started in private wealth before working on the sellside and buyside in equity trading and research roles in Australia, London and Singapore. Jamie holds a B. Bus from Queensland University of Technology and is involved in the advancing the discipline of technical analysis via his position as global board member of Chartered Market Technician (CMT) Association and chairman of the Asia Pacific development committee.
