Murat heads Bloomberg’s EMEA and APAC product development for ESG and Climate Risk Enterprise Data solutions. He interacts with clients and regulators, identifying key challenges and supporting the development of new data sets for ESG regulatory disclosure and new climate risk requirements. Murat has 18 years of risk management and compliance experience covering sell and buy side markets. Before joining Bloomberg, Murat worked as a Director at KPMG, advising clients in risk control, capital management, compliance and accounting topics.

Matt Ekroth

EMEA Corporate Data Strategy

Matthew leads EMEA Corporates Supply Chain and Data Strategy at Bloomberg in London. Matthew specializes in advising and working with clients on data strategy matters, focusing on supply chain management, sustainability and on incorporating external data into company operations. Prior to joining Bloomberg, he spent over 18 years as a quantitative portfolio manager at firms including Goldman Sachs and Citigroup in New York and London. More recently he headed data strategy for equities trading at Morgan Stanley in London. Matthew holds an MSc in Finance from London Business School.

Alistair Purdie is an analyst in BloombergNEF’s sustainable agriculture team. His work covers nature policy and finance, examining how global financial flows can be redirected to achieve biodiversity-positive outcomes. He has broader experience in nature-based solutions and ESG strategy, with a background in economics.
