U.S. corporate stock may be having its moment in the sun. Via the Build Back Better Act, Congress is likely to pass a tax on stock buybacks and the Treasury Department is certain to focus on dividends as a tool for revenue generation over the next few years. Even equity-flavored derivatives won't escape the spotlight - swaps may soon no longer present a withholding tax loophole for foreign investors. We hope that you can join us on January 12th to explore the impact of legislative and regulatory changes on the future of dividend-driven markets with Bloomberg's equity and tax specialists.
