Indian Technology Sector – the Drivers and More

The Indian economy has shown resilience in the face of recent headwinds, and macro indicators suggest that we are now on a path of recovery. Supporting this, the government has indicated strong budgetary focus on the IT sector, issuing statements recently around the digital economy, health ecosystem and e-passports.

This approach should come as no surprise. The IT space contributes a little over 9% to national GDP, making it one of India's biggest economic sectors. NASSCOM estimates the sector's revenue will reach $227 billion in 2022.

Join us as we bring together experts to discuss the macro outlook for the Indian economy, the outlook for technology—and how Bloomberg is working towards building better tools to help investors make prudent investment decisions across sectors.
