Joanne is a Global Healthcare Industry Specialist enabling Bloomberg's corporate healthcare clients to enhance their workflow productivity, supporting roles ranging from Investor Relations to Strategy/Business Development. Prior to joining Bloomberg, she spent 20 years as an equity buy-side analyst/PM investing in Healthcare at such shops as Alger, BlackRock and most recently Nuveen. She also worked at Lehman Brothers in sell-side equity research and spent a few years in investment banking. Joanne holds a Bachelor of Science from Boston College and earned her MBA at NYU Stern.

Kumar is a Healthcare Industry Specialist supporting Bloomberg's Corporations initiative where he covers Pharma companies within their M&A/Strategy/Corp Dev teams. He joined Bloomberg a year ago. Prior to joining Bloomberg, he spent 8 years in Investment Banking covering Healthcare M&A. He has worked in the M&A Teams at Morgan Stanley and UBS in London having served as an advisor on M&A deals, IPO/Capital Raise/Private Funding rounds as well as Defense Mandates.

He's spent the bulk of his career in institutional equity sales on Wall Street, where he advised trillion dollar AUM asset managers and corporations on investor targeting and messaging. He was also the senior analyst at a top-ranked hedge fund. Michael holds a MSc in Strategy with Distinction from London Business School and is a CFA charter holder.
