Invest in Asia: China X Bloomberg Intelligence | the Global AI Race: Entering a New Paradigm

The global AI accelerator market is projected to grow by 36% CAGR to $407 billion by 2027. This surge is fueled by rising capex from cloud service providers and enterprises aiming to create and sustain AI leadership. Amidst this growth, the industry is experiencing a transformative shift, driven by loosening AI regulations, a change in focus from training AI models to inference tasks and the emergence of Chinese AI accelerators. On the macro front, Beijing is implementing a a dual strategy including expansive fiscal measures alongside supply-side reforms. Combined with efforts to stabilize the housing market and stimulate consumption, China's robust domestic market is positioned to absorb global shocks. In addition, there are a number of structural drivers including China's "engineer dividend" that should set the stage for China's economy to sustain resilient growth above the norm in the foreseeable future. Tune in to the first episode of our new webinar series, as speakers from GF Securities, Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Ltd and Bloomberg Intelligence discuss AI, China macro and the implications for Hong Kong's financial markets and potential listings.
