While the transition from LIBOR to new RFRs has been much smoother than anticipated, it has taken countless hours of hard work to make this possible. The last progress report by the Federal Reserve-backed Alternative Reference Rates Committee showed that:

· Trading volumes for OTC derivatives tied to the LIBOR alternative have risen by more than 600% since the committee’s March report
· Floating-rate debt issuance tied to SOFR now accounts for nearly all private issuance
· Corporations are starting to issue bilateral business loans and other products tied to SOFR

Please join us as we discuss the current situation in India, including the transition to Modified MIFOR for derivatives trades and the many post-LIBOR challenges that remain to be addressed, such as:

· Term SOFR and the use of other available indices like BSBY
· Basis risk on trade transactions
· Hedging using the new RFR curves
