As the earnings season is beginning in July, we thought it would be a good idea to work around this event. Most companies will have reported early August, but for most clients the reports are delayed or the institutions need at least some time to make reports. The timing in this regards is quite interesting. Moreover, once the earnings season is over, DS is an interesting tool to look for trends or mentions in the reports. This is the most relevant when most companies have reported, which is around the 7th of August (80% of the S&P).
