Nader Shwayhat is Global Head of Bloomberg's Compliance, Collaboration, and Surveillance Solutions. He is a veteran Financial Technology executive having founded and led several AI-based analytics and communication start-ups as well as leading large transformation initiatives and global product teams at CME Group, BNY, and now Bloomberg. With a focus on how collaboration, trading, and compliance all intersect, Nader is focused on delivering product and data solutions that can reduce a client's risk while delivering genuine business insights.

Christian Benson

Market Structure and regulatory strategy: EMEA

Christian Benson leads market structure and risk strategy for EMEA within Bloomberg's government and regulatory affairs team. This involves supporting clients and internal business stakeholders when it comes to tracking and understanding a wide range of financial market regulatory developments. He is also responsible for building relationships with numerous regulatory and government authorities, and co-ordinates the Bloomberg Monthly Regulatory Brief project. Prior to Bloomberg, Christian worked in capital markets research and consultancy. Christian graduated from the London School of Economics (LSE) with a degree in Economics.

Amanda Stent

Head of AI Strategy & Research, Office of the CTO

Amanda Stent is the head of AI Strategy & Research in the Office of the CTO at Bloomberg. They have worked in several roles in industry and academia. Most recently, they served as inaugural director of the Davis Institute for AI at Colby College from 2021-2024. From 2016-2021, they served as NLP Architect in Bloomberg's Office of the CTO, a role in which they helped the company achieve and maintain technical excellence and broad applicability of NLP solutions, as well as architected and coordinated the development of new Bloomberg Terminal-based and Enterprise product offerings that use NLP. They previously held positions as Director, Research and Principal Research Scientist at Yahoo, as Principal Member of the Technical Staff at AT&T Labs — Research, and as associate professor in the Computer Science Department at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, NY. Amanda holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Rochester, has authored or co-authored over 100 papers on natural language processing, and is co-inventor on over 35 patents.

Alyssa Gilmore

Global Head of Communications, Financial Solutions

Alyssa Gilmore is the Global Head of Communications for Bloomberg Financial Products. She leads an international team that promotes the company's brand and achievements through advances in media relations, content creation, customer advocacy and third-party influence. Previously, she developed and led global analyst relations, instituting innovative advocacy and advisory practices for the company's financial information and technology division. Prior to joining Bloomberg in 2014, Alyssa held management positions in marketing and communications at SunGard Financial Systems, where she also created SunGard’s global analyst relations division. Since entering the Financial Technology sector with Thomson Financial in 1996, she has led strategic initiatives in front and back office solutions, risk management and corporate banking.
