Miguel Bragança holds a degree in Management and Administration from the Catholic University of Portugal and an MBA from INSEAD (France). Since 2012 he has been Chief Financial Officer, board member and Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee of Banco Comercial Português (Millennium bcp), Portugal, and a Member of the Supervisory Board of Bank Millennium S.A. (Poland). He began his career in 1989 in capital markets and investment banking, and has been executive board member at various Financial Institutions in Portugal (Santander Totta), Brazil (Santander Brazil) and the UK (Abbey National). From 2008-2012 he was responsible for the Financial, Accounting and Management Control, Marketing and Products Areas, at Banco Santander Totta and Banco Santander de Negócios (Portugal)

Maria João Carioca is a Member of the Board of Directors of Caixa Geral de Depósitos, since March 2017. She is currently its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO). In a previous mandate, from 2013 until 2016, she was a Member of the Board of Directors. In 2016 and part of 2017, she worked as a Managing Board Member of Euronext and CEO of Euronext Portugal. From 2011 until 2013 Maria João worked as an Executive Member of the Board of Directors at SIBS Pagamentos. During the prior 5 years she was Head of Strategy of SIBS. From 2004 until 2008 she was Head of Strategy Analysis and Business Support in UNICRE. Maria João Carioca began her career in1999 at Mckinsey & Company, first as a consultant and later as an Associate Principal. She graduated in Economics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and holds an MBA from INSEAD and a LCOR from Harvard Business School.
Mário Centeno

Governor since 20 July 2020,Mário Centeno received his PhD in Economics from Harvard University in 2000. He was Portugal’s Minister of Finance from 2015 to 2020 and Eurogroup’s President from 2018 to 2020. His educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics and an Economics Degree from the Lisbon School of Economics and Management, Universidade Técnica de Lisboa. As President of the Eurogroup, he led the group of Euro Area Finance Ministers to the completion of important institutional features of the Area. In that capacity, he was also appointed President-Elect of the Board of Governors of the European Stability Mechanism and participated, as an observer, in the Governing Council of the European Central Bank. He also chaired the Board of Governors of the European Investment Bank (2017-18). He also represented the Euro Area at the G7 Finance Ministers group and at the G4 Finance Ministers group. He was also a member of the Five Presidents of the European Union group, where he took part in setting an European strategy to deal with the health and economic crisis in 2020. Over the past two and a half years, he participated in European Council meetings and Euro Summits, together with leaders from EU Member States. As part of his duties as Minister of Finance, he also represented Portugal as Governor of the European Stability Mechanism, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank, the African Development Bank Group, the Asian Development Bank, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank Group, the Development Bank of Latin America, the Common Fund for Commodities and the World Bank Group. From 2004 to 2013, he was Deputy Head of the Economics and Research Department and, from 2014 to 2015,Advisor to the Board of Directors of the Banco de Portugal. During this period, he was also a member of the Statistical Council and the Economic Policy Committee of the European Commission. Fernando Medina
Minister of Finance and Planning of Portugal
He is an economist, with a degree from the Porto School of Economics and a master’s degree in Economic Sociology from University of Lisbon’s ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management. He was Mayor of Lisbon (2015-2021), Deputy Mayor in charge of Finance (2013-2015) and President of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area (2017-2021). He was a member of parliament and Vice-President of the Socialist Party’s Parliamentary Group (2011-2013); he was on the Budget and Finance Committee and the Committee to Monitor the Economic and Financial Assistance Programme. He was Secretary of State for Industry and Development for the Ministry of Economy (2009-2011) and Secretary of State for Employment and Vocational Training for the Ministry of Labour and Social Solidarity (2005-2009). He was Advisor for Education and Advisor for economic affairs for Prime Minister António Guterres. He held several posts in bodies and services belonging to the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Economy and is currently a permanent staff member of AICEP. He is a member of the Socialist Party’s Secretariat.

Zoe Schneeweiss is a 15-year veteran of Bloomberg News, having started in her native Vienna, where she was bureau chief from 2009 to 2012. After that she spent six years in Zurich covering economics and three in London as a senior editor, before moving to Frankfurt in 2021, where she heads Bloomberg's coverage of central banks and fiscal policy in Western Europe.

Filipe Silva is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Galp. Before joining Galp, in 2012, he led for 12 years the investment banking areas of Deutsche Bank in Portugal, of which he became the CEO in 2008. Filipe holds a degree in economics and financial management from the Catholic University of America, Washington D.C., where he also completed a Masters in Financial Management. He was born in Lisbon in 1964.
