Lee Ballin is the Head of Business Development for Sustainability at BloombergNEF (BNEF), Bloomberg’s primary research group focused on industry-transforming trends and technologies driving a cleaner, more competitive future. Prior to this role, Lee was a founding member of Bloomberg’s Sustainable Business & Finance team. For over 10 years Lee worked on integrating sustainability considerations into the company’s operations while co-developing products and services for the Bloomberg Terminal and Bloomberg Media.

Helen Dewhurst is a renewable energy analyst at BloombergNEF, covering corporate sustainability. Helen specializes on how companies can align themselves with their peers and stay ahead of regulation to have a positive environmental impact, building and maintaining datasets that track corporate pledges and the progress made towards these. Helen also advises on how companies can reduce emissions and increase their purchasing of renewable energy, via a variety of corporate energy procurement strategies. Before joining BNEF, Helen worked in sustainable procurement at Accenture, working closely with key suppliers to deliver Accenture’s environmental strategy.

Kyle leads BNEF’s sustainability research team, which publishes content on the private sector's transition to the low-carbon economy. The team focuses on core areas like environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting, target-setting, low-carbon pathways and sustainable finance. Kyle specializes in corporate clean energy procurement, net-zero targets and voluntary carbon offsets.
