David Massias joined Bloomberg in 2007 as an Equity Specialist to provide equity related consultative solutions to clients. Since that time, David has enjoyed a diversified career at Bloomberg. He first worked as a Bloomberg Account Manager covering large financial institutions and corporations ranging from corporate treasuries and hedge funds to research houses. He then became Global Relationship Manager for Credit Agricole for almost two years. Since 2011, David has become Bloomberg’s Equity Application Specialist for EMEA clients, where he delivers a number of seminars and webinars on key industry topics such as Equity Markets, Value Investing, Risk Analysis, Fundamental Research and ESG to 200+ audiences regularly. David’s aim is to provide Bloomberg clients with knowledge on which products or solutions will provide them with the most efficient tools to their workflow needs and problems.

Giuseppe Netti Regional Head of Enterprise Sales MEA Bloomberg LP Dubai, UAE. Giuseppe Netti oversees Bloomberg’s Relationships for Middle East and Africa. Giuseppe is responsible for developing and directing a unified business expansion across the company’s suite of Enterprise Solutions for Buyside and Sellside clients, including the Bloomberg Terminals. He also acts as Chair of the Dubai Office Committee. Prior to assuming his current role, Giuseppe grew his 14 years’ career at Bloomberg through several sales and sales leadership roles such as Head of Buyside Solution Sales for Middle East, Head of Enteprise Sales for UAE in Dubai and Head of Enterprise Sales Italy during his 9 years tenure within our EMEA Headquarter in London, UK. Giuseppe holds a BSc in Finance and MSc in International Business from University of Dundee, UK.

Ntombenhle Radebe

Ntombenhle Radebe has worked for over 19 years in the South African financial services industry, mainly in banking and asset management. Ntombenhle began her career at Eskom in 2002, as a Graduate in Training in the Generation Division and then in the Treasury Division. She subsequently worked in Global Markets and CIB for Nedbank and Absa gathering vast experience in financial markets. Joined STANLIB in July 2019 as Business Development Manager for the STANLIB Index Investments team. She has passionately also overseen the business development function for 1nvest since its inception in October 2019. Her business specialisations include strategy setting and execution; stakeholder engagement; project management; business development, as well as client and business innovation, with a passion for a Shared Value approach. Ntombenhle holds a BCom (Honours) degree in Business Finance from Wits University and an MBA from Tel Aviv University. She sits on several boards, including Eastvaal Motors, The Stallion Group and Afrika Tikkun NPC

Derick De Jongh

Professor Derick de Jongh is the Founding Director of The Albert Luthuli Leadership Institute (ALLI). He also founded the Albert Luthuli Centre for Responsible Leadership (ALCRL) at the University of Pretoria in 2010. He holds a B Com, B Com (Hons) and an M Com (all cum laude) as well as a Doctorate in Commerce (Corporate Social Performance). He founded the Centre for Corporate Citizenship (CCC) at the University of South Africa (UNISA) in 2001. His expansive academic career includes numerous presentations at international symposia on the topic of responsible leadership, corporate social responsibility (CSR), corporate citizenship and corporate responsibility. He is a former Visiting Professor at institutions such as the Zeppelin University Leadership Excellence Institute (Germany), Rowe School of Business, Dalhousie University, Canada and at the Asia Pacific Centre for Sustainable Enterprise, Griffith University, Australia where he serves as Adjunct Professor. Over the years, he has carried out several research assignments and published in refereed journals with special focus on CSR, corporate responsibility and responsible leadership. Derick serves on the editorial boards of numerous journals, including the International Journal of Corporate Citizenship, Sustainability Accounting Management and Policy Journal, The Journal of Global Responsibility and the Journal for Innovation and Sustainable Development. Under his leadership a PhD programme in Leadership, a Masters degree in Responsible Leadership, a Masters degree in Development Practice and Leadership and a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrated Reporting was developed. He supervises PhD and Masters students all in the field of Responsible Leadership, CSR, Sustainable Development and Critical Accounting. He successfully supervised 8 PhD students over the past 4 years. He regularly acts as external examiner for PhD and Master’s degrees for local and international Universities. Derick regularly participates in local radio talk shows on issues related to leadership and complex social problems. Derick has a keen interest in student leadership development and more specifically understanding youth leadership in a very complex society. He serves on various committees that focus on developing the next generation responsible leaders. Derick is founding member of the Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative (GRLI) as well as a founding member of the 50+20 “Management Education for the World” initiative. Derick is a former member of the World Business School Council for Sustainable Business – a UN PRME, GRLI initiative. Derick continues to teach at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels. His current areas of research interest include leadership and complexity, collaborative leadership, leadership for a sustainable future and leadership for health in Africa. He holds a strong critical leadership theory position and argues that leadership is not about the individual but should be seen as a complex socially constructed phenomenon and its emergence is depended on realities of time, non-linear processes, complex adaptive systems. Under his leadership the South African Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Hub as well as the SDG Policy Initiative was established. The Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) also resides within the ALLI under the leadership of Prof de Jongh.

Babalwa Ngonyama, founder and CEO of Sinayo Securities a majority-black female-owned member of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange has two decades of experience in the financial services sector. The acclaimed CEO is also the founding chairperson of the African Women Chartered Accountants (AWCA), an organization whose key aim is to accelerate the development of black female Chartered Accountants. Babalwa also leads “Project Funda” a training and development program for young professionals. Born in the Eastern Cape, she is the first woman Chair of the Council of the University of Cape Town. Board member of Aspen Limited and chairs its audit committee. Independent director on both the Hollard Life and Insurance boards and chairs its risk committees. Her roles at Aspen are proof of her ability to strategically face challenges head-on and work closely with management to navigate businesses out of complex situations. She plays a central role in assisting Hollard tackle the challenges brought on by their technology-driven competitors and translating these into opportunities. As a lead independent director at Implats Ltd, Ngonyama has represented the company in numerous high-level stakeholder discussions and her strong networks have proven valuable in moving the company forward. In 2021, Babalwa established the Babalwa Ngonyama Foundation. The foundation is committed to positively impacting the social and economic lives of communities and individuals, by assisting them to face their challenges and providing financial support, networking, and mentoring as well as creating a safe space for individuals and communities to build a support system. Babalwa’s philosophy is centered around developing as she leads and drives awareness around the value of women. She believes that when you empower women, you empower a community and thus the nation. That there are no boundaries to what women can accomplish because we are the masters of our own destiny.
