Unmasking Crypto Exposure in Funds and Etfs

Crypto-related assets are gaining popularity but remain highly volatile, requiring traditional investors to thoughtfully understand and manage their exposure. In addition, firms today are interested in managing crypto-related exposures given increased demand from clients as they become more familiar with this new asset class, making it crucial to quantify both direct and indirect crypto exposure. Recognizing and assessing the impact in the market value of clients' portfolios that incorporate crypto-related assets and companies has become fundamental to provide a whole-portfolio view for clients.

Unfortunately, identifying assets with exposure to digital assets is easier said than done, especially for Funds and ETPs. Accurately identifying exposure requires comprehensive and robust funds data such as fund holdings data, reference and pricing data, company financials, and revenue segmentation. Likewise, Fund flows can offer a view of how investors are allocating money into these exposures reflecting market sentiment that can be incorporated into building client portfolios or to perform quantitative analysis.

Join us for a webinar on how Bloomberg's digital asset data and funds data can automate the process to quantify crypto exposure, helping you navigate a rapidly evolving market with confidence.
