Will Governments Lean-In to Crypto or Fall Behind?

Governments have a crypto problem. The asset class has become a fixture in both emerging and developed markets, influencing the global economy. But few governments have offered a clear stance and now are faced with a dilemma. Lean-in to cryptocurrency and reap the potential economic benefits; or keep the industry at arm’s length and risk falling behind to other, more permissive jurisdictions.

In this session, we learn from Brian Mosoff, CEO of Ether Capital, who's first-hand experience offers a unique perspective into the ways governments are grappling with the short and long-term macroeconomic implications of this new financial frontier, including what's at stake for governments, and why it’s not as simple as creating one set of rules for the entire sector.
